Job summary

Mexican American Opportunity Foundation is seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor in Monterey County to support the Site Supervisor in operating a preschool/childcare center. The role ensures a quality program that meets contractual obligations and MAOF standards.

The ideal candidate brings admin experience, a CTCC Site Supervisor Permit, and bilingual abilities, with strong communication and organizational skills and a commitment to MAOF values.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of progressively more responsible administrative experience.
  • Site Supervisor Permit from CTCC, required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
  • Health & Safety Certified.
  • Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Must be fingerprinted (State law).
  • Must possess own vehicle and a valid California Driver’s License.
  • Ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the public; work as part of a team and meet deadlines.
  • Committed to the goals and objectives of MAOF.

Assistant Site Supervisor (Monterey County)

To assist Site Supervisor with operation of pre-school and/or childcare and development center, ensuring that a quality program which meets contractual obligations, requirements, and MAOF standards is provided.

Qualifications
  • Minimum two (2) years of progressively more responsible administrative experience.
  • Site Supervisor Permit from CTCC, required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
  • Health & Safety Certified.
  • Physical and mental fitness to engage in management service in children’s centers.
  • Love for children and ability to work with people harmoniously. Evidence of emotional maturity, stability, tactfulness, and the ability to provide professional leadership.
  • Must be fingerprinted (State law).
  • Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Must possess own vehicle at all times, a valid California Driver’s License and appropriate automobile insurance.
  • Ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the public; work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues; and complete projects under tight deadlines even when there are requirements and changes in assignments.
  • Must be committed to the goals and objectives of the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation.
