Job summary

Fortrex is seeking an Assistant Site Manager in Sanitation to oversee daily sanitation operations and lead the crew at our Fremont, NE facility. You will support the Site Manager, implement improvement plans, and help ensure the facility meets the highest cleanliness and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year sanitation experience, fluent English and Spanish, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to work on-site in variable conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
• 6 months to 1 year of related sanitation experience.
• General working knowledge of computers and technology.
• Ability to fluently speak, read, and write Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the sanitation crew daily under the Site Manager.
• Report accidents, downtime, and plant issues to Site Manager.
• Coordinate with Corporate for logs, payroll, and supplies.
• Conduct weekly internal safety audits.
• Set goals and monitor sanitation crew performance.
• Develop and manage direct reporting staff including hiring and training.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer service.
• Liaise with customers and attend sanitation meetings.
