Job Description

Position Mission: Provides management assistance in a company-owned Integrated Business Solutions (IBS) location or locations. Develops quality personnel, sets high performance standards, and uses company training resources to ensure the efforts and accomplishments of employees are recognized. Assumes responsibility for inventory protection, asset management, and operational issues. Ensures overall cleanliness of the site, stock room, and outside areas. Fosters a positive relationship between the customer and staff through meetings and open discussions.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage inventory and ROI
  • Utilize available tools for tracking value-added items for the customer
  • Maintain and develop local non-NAPA vendor relationships
  • Respond promptly to customer purchase and service inquiries
  • Understand, interpret, and comply with all contract requirements and ensure the operation meets customer expectations
  • Collaborate with company and customer management to develop strategies for the IBS program
  • Maintain knowledge of the TAMS buy-out PO process
  • Use approved non-company line codes appropriately
  • Source all parts needs for customers via approved IBS vendors
  • Meet performance goals per IBS customer agreements
  • Minimize inventory shrinkage through proper processes and procedures
  • Receive merchandise timely and accurately, and store appropriately
  • Create a safe work environment and complete required hazmat training
  • Comply with company and customer policies
  • Barcode inventory and organize in bin locations
  • Return non-company excess inventory
  • Coordinate with the Site Manager on reconciliation tasks and vendor negotiations
  • Follow all IBS policies and procedures
  • Complete all IBS operations training
  • Use non-company approved line codes correctly
  • Perform any tasks assigned by the Site Manager
Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required; technical school or college degree a plus
  • ASE certification within twelve months
  • Ability to manage and delegate to a team of two or more
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Leadership experience in the automotive aftermarket industry
  • Knowledge of store services and high character integrity
  • Leadership ability to foster high performance teams
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Maintain and protect company assets and facilities
  • Willingness to learn and possess analytical problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in POS systems, cataloging, Microsoft Office, internet research, and fleet management software
Work Environment

The physical demands include standing, walking, talking, hearing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, and lifting up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. The environment may involve exposure to loud noise, fumes, or airborne particles, typical of a fleet shop setting.
