We are seeking an Assistant Shop Mechanic to work a part-time schedule at our Durham, NC shop. Our Assistant Shop Mechanics help keep our shops clean and organized and also assist our lead mechanics with their duties and responsibilities.

The pay for this position is $17.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience. This is a Part-Time role : Schedule is Monday-Friday; 1 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

• Clean up and organize the shop, assist with deliveries, help the team as they arrive, and lock up the shop at the end of the day.
• Assist lead mechanic when needed; includes light mechanic duties.
• Represent Agape Lawn Company with professionalism and care while on-site, ensuring a great customer experience.
• Assist with other duties as needed, ensuring no two days are the same!

What We’re Looking For :

• The ability to perform all job functions safely and efficiently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Excellent communication is key! Whether you’re taking direction from the lead mechanic or working alongside your teammates, we value collaboration and building strong relationships with clients.
• Comfortable working in a shop environment and can lift or carry 35-80 pounds regularly with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Consistently arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to represent Agape with a clean, professional appearance.
