Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring for an Assistant Shop Manager at an Illinois location. Paid training will equip you with the Take 5 way to manage a shop, handle oil changes, and perform basic maintenance. The role offers opportunities for growth as many leaders began as crew members or ASM.

The position pays $17.25 to $23.00 per hour for full-time, with benefits including health, vision, dental, PTO, and a 401(k) match. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in variable weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience is VALUED but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in hot/cold weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to the shop.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payments for services performed.
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager’s absence.
• Run the floor to ensure tasks are completed and customers are satisfied.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory.
• Train new employees in the Take 5 way.
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other light maintenance services.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.
