Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring Assistant Shop Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced auto service shop. We offer PAID TRAINING on the Take 5 method to manage a location, supervise crew, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience is VALUED but not required.
• PAID TRAINING provided on the Take 5 way to manage a shop location.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow pit to work under cars.
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payments for services performed.
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Manager’s absence.
• Run the floor, ensure staff are where they need to be and customers are satisfied.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with inventory counting and stocking.
• Train new employees to fulfill duties in the Take 5 Way.
• Door-to-door oil changes and routine maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop, office, and restrooms.
