Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager in Seven Hills, OH. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, train team members, and help maintain safety and service standards while delivering a fast, friendly customer experience.

The role emphasizes leadership on the shop floor, workflow coordination, and opportunities for growth into higher leadership positions. Automotive experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment delivering consistent and exceptional customer service.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and reinforce company procedures and service standards.
• Train new team members, provide real-time coaching and feedback, and recognize strong performance.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and assist with daily inventory counts.
