Job summary

The Take 5 Oil Change Biloxi is expanding its team and seeks an Assistant Shop Manager who can lead a busy service floor with energy and a friendly, customer-first approach.

You will supervise technicians, manage daily operations, train staff, and ensure quick, safe, and accurate oil changes while maintaining a clean, welcoming shop environment and driving customer satisfaction through consistent service, up-selling appropriate maintenance, and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must gain strong knowledge of oils and services.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Check in with customers before they leave the shop to ensure a great experience.
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager's absence.
• Run the floor, ensuring staff are where they need to be and customers are satisfied.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory.
• Train and develop subordinates and be a role model for the team.
• Perform technician duties including oil changes and related services.
