Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced service team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, staff development, and delivering a safe, efficient customer experience.

Training is provided and automotive experience is valued, but not required. You will help keep the shop running smoothly, step into management when needed, and mentor teammates to uphold Take 5 standards while driving service quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• 6+ months of experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach and give feedback.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed, ensuring safety, efficiency and high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Reinforce company procedures, safety requirements and service standards.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and support daily inventory counts.
• Support shop communication, reporting and operational follow-up.
