Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage and assess the performance of the entire security personnel.
• Train staff on Fire/Evacuation Response Plans, including practical firefighting exercises.
• Develop and implement all training on Outside Threat Response Plans.
• Create security policies and procedures, oversee training modules, and provide protection for important persons when necessary.
• Monitor and report accidents on hotel premises, inspect all areas for safety and fire hazards, and file safety reports.
• Conduct internal investigations as needed.
• Manage security personnel schedules and attendance, ensuring courteous service.
• Develop and maintain Crisis Management Plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Police on Crime Prevention initiatives.
• Ensure security procedures are followed in outsourced outlets.
• Keep security team updated with safety training programs.
• Maintain all security Policies, Procedures, and Local Standard Operating Procedures.
• Present Security and Safety orientations for new colleagues.
• Participate actively in Health and Safety meetings as a member of the team.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Security Department.
• Liaise with government authorities and stay informed about regulations.
• Manage security shifts professionally and responsibly.
• Perform any other duties as assigned, following hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel is desirable.
• Health and Safety certification is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Risk assessment, hygiene, and health & safety expertise.
