Overview

Provide 7-Eleven Field Operators with professional asset protection services by conducting timely, comprehensive, and accurate investigations and research to preserve revenue and profit in a proactive manner.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and research using corporate reports and Exception Based Reporting.
• Develop professional, comprehensive cases and research packages that reveal fraud or misreporting.
• Manage cases through their completion, ensuring recoveries, documentation, and follow-up are completed.
• Perform tasks required to carry out the Asset Protection Department's Four Pillar Strategy: Revenue and Profit Assurance, Shortage Control, Incident-Investigation Management, and the Safety Program.
• Advise, train, and counsel field operators in shortage control, theft, and asset protection.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, representing 7-Eleven to local municipalities.
• Assist law enforcement and third-party insurance administrators in securing evidence and statements.
• Provide immediate response, support, and professional consultation following critical incidents impacting store assets and personnel.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of retail operations-related experience, preferably multi-unit.
• Thorough understanding of retail accounting and financial management.
• Experience with analytics and reporting management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to train and communicate effectively with individuals and large groups.
• Proficiency in Exception Based Reporting Tools.
• Ability to conduct professional investigative interviews.
• This is a 100% remote role.
• Travel requirement: 60-70%.
