Overview:

Provide 7-Eleven Field Operators with professional asset protection services by conducting timely, comprehensive, accurate investigations and research to preserve revenue and profit enhancement proactively.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct investigations and research, utilizing corporate reports and Exception Based Reporting.
2. Develop professional, comprehensive cases and research packages that reveal fraud or misreporting.
3. Manage cases through their completion, ensuring appropriate recoveries, documentation, and follow-up.
4. Perform tasks required to carry out asset protection duties.
5. Support the Asset Protection Department's Four Pillar Strategy: Revenue and Profit Assurance, Shortage Control, Incident-Investigation Management, and the Safety Program.
6. Advise, train, and counsel field operators in shortage control, theft, and asset protection.
7. Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, representing 7-Eleven in local municipalities.
8. Assist law enforcement and third-party insurance administrators in securing evidence and statements.
9. Provide immediate response and support to field operations following critical incidents of crime or disaster affecting store associates, franchisees, guests, licensees, and assets.

Qualifications:

1. Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
2. At least 5 years of retail operations-related experience, preferably multi-unit.
3. Thorough understanding of retail accounting and financial management.
4. Experience with analytics and reporting management is required.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to train and communicate effectively one-on-one or to large audiences.
7. Proficiency with Exception Based Reporting Tools.
8. Ability to conduct professional investigative interviews.
9. This is a 100% remote role.
10. Travel requirements: 60-70%.
