Job summary

Hair Cuttery is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager in Virginia to lead daily floor operations, mentor stylists, and ensure outstanding guest experiences. You’ll manage appointments, uphold safety standards, and partner with marketing to keep the chair flow steady.

You will combine creative hair artistry with strong leadership, learn business metrics, and play a key role in onboarding new talent to the Hair Cuttery family.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Full-time leadership role (40+ hours/week).
• Must have stamina to stand for long periods and perform salon services with precision.
• Strong attitude, basic math skills for inventory and cash handling, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the floor, manage the appointment book, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor stylists using the IGROW model to help careers grow.
• Ensure salon compliance with State Board and OSHA standards for a safe shop.
• Support local partnerships and digital campaigns to keep chairs full and the brand buzzing.
