Job summary

Hair Cuttery is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager in Virginia to lead the floor, mentor stylists, and maintain high energy and guest satisfaction. You will partner with the Salon Leader to drive operations, scheduling, and performance while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

The role blends behind-the-chair creativity with developing leadership skills, managing inventory, and contributing to local marketing efforts. A Cosmetology license and full-time availability are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a current cosmetology license for the applying state.
• Full-time leadership role (40 hours per week).
• Physically able to stand long periods and perform all salon services with precision.
• Strong communication and team leadership are essential.
• Bring personal equipment daily and be ready to rock.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the floor and manage the appointment book in Zenoti.
• Coach and mentor stylists to help them hit goals and grow their careers.
• Ensure compliance with State Board and OSHA standards for a safe salon.
• Assist with local marketing partnerships and digital campaigns to keep chairs full.
