Job summary

The Scalo Companies in Ohio seek an Assistant Project Manager to coordinate projects from kickoff through close-out. You will handle document control, submittals, purchase orders, and material tracking while supporting Project Managers and field teams. Collaboration with vendors and internal departments is essential.

You will assist with scheduling, site visits, and change orders, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget. A background in construction and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business or equivalent construction experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse teams.
• Experience coordinating documents, submittals, and project files.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with documentation, submittals, scheduling, project files, and project close-out activities.
• Attend hand-off, kick-off, pre-construction, on-site meetings; distribute notes and updates.
• Build and maintain project files in Sage 300 and related systems; track submittals and POs.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to support execution.
• Create and maintain project schedules and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Assist with change orders, job-cost tracking, and production metrics.
