Job summary

NEPA Wholesale seeks an Assistant Robotic Technician to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming of robotic systems across our facilities. You will drive automation improvements while upholding safety and productivity standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance of AGVs, programming tasks, and collaboration with international teams to optimize warehouse operations.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with industrial robotic systems (Fanuc or similar).
Proficiency in robotics programming including ladder logic, PLC, and HMI configuration.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics reading, and PLC repair.

Responsibilities

Maintain AGV fleet on the warehouse floor with 95% uptime; perform preventive maintenance every 2–3 months.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software AGV issues, identifying root causes.
Act as primary contact with AGV vendor/support teams across time zones and cultures.
Analyze warehouse workflows to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
Lead new robotics projects and design workflows tailored to needs.
Interpret robotics programming languages and learn new tools as they emerge.
Train warehouse associates on new workflows and processes.
Maintain barcode-based floor navigation system for AGVs.
Keep detailed service records for each robot.
Manage inventory of spare parts and organize troubleshooting tools.
