Job summary

The dd's Discounts division of Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Westminster, CA to support the Store Manager in all store operations and drive sales while upholding company standards.

You will supervise non-exempt staff, help recruit and train associates, and implement programs that improve customer service and shrink control. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to work varied shifts.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in managing and controlling the operations of the store to ensure that company standards and expectations are consistently met; supervises areas assigned by the Store Manager and follows the dd’s DISCOUNTS philosophy and policies researches to customers, Associates and merchandising. Responsible for learning all phases of store operations. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for the entire store operation and will execute the business plan and associated programs that will deliver the desired sales and profit results, while maintaining good quality customer service.
