Job summary

Anchor Point Management Group seeks an Assistant General Manager for a Taco Bell unit in Clarksdale, MS. The AGM provides management coverage during operating hours and supervises staff to ensure a clean, friendly, and efficient operation.

You will train employees, respond to guest needs, and model service standards while handling scheduling, inventory, and cash procedures. The role combines hands-on leadership with daily operational oversight.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong preference for internal promote who has completed required training and certs.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours and all shifts.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good hygiene and reliable transportation.
• Ability to learn quickly and a can-do attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees.
• A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and accurately take orders.
• Prepare and package food and drink products according to restaurant standards.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change to guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including back of house, lobby, and restrooms.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair employee treatment and compliance with workplace laws and regulations.
• Offer ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Find, hire, and develop Taco Bell employees and guide new team members during onboarding.
• Assist with any safety concerns in the workplace.
• Report serious issues to manager and HR as needed.
• Conduct food safety and prep audits daily.
• Monitor inventory and create schedules to deploy the team effectively.
• Monitor speed of service and resolve bottlenecks to meet targets.
