Job summary

Tacos & Tequila Cantina is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily operations, develop a high-performing team, and deliver unforgettable guest experiences in a fast-paced Tex-Mex concept. You will partner with the General Manager to drive sales, maintain safety and quality standards, recruit and coach staff, and uphold our culture of teamwork, accountability, and Over-the-Top Service.

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is expected.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and financial controls.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and performance coaching.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations with the General Manager.
• Ensure front-of-house and back-of-house functions run smoothly.
• Maintain service, cleanliness, food quality, and consistency.
• Lead and coach the restaurant team to achieve goals.
• Support strategies to grow sales and control costs.
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
