Primanti Bros. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to supervise daily restaurant operations, ensure brand standards and health & safety compliance, and support financial performance.

Responsibilities include scheduling, hiring, training, inventory, cash handling, resolving customer concerns, coordinating marketing efforts, mentoring staff, and stepping in as service staff when needed. Salary ranges from $59,000 to $65,000 USD per year.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to Fans and Players.
• Stands/walks 100% of the shift.
• Lifts and carries up to 50lbs, up to 20 times per shift; places these items on high shelves and in walk-in cooler and/or freezer.

Responsibilities

• Assists with administrative duties, including ordering, receiving, inventory, scheduling, and vendor invoice management.
• Sources, interviews, and hires candidates, trains Players, delegates, provides direction, evaluates, counsels, and disciplines Players as needed.
• Oversees all daily financial responsibilities (cash handling, daily deposits, authorizes comps and voids, etc.).
• Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.
• Oversees cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facility to ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to.
• Assists in marketing strategy and campaigns to increase business.
• Leads by example and fosters mentoring relationships.
• Provides performance feedback and reviews for Players, assists with professional development.
• Works with management team and Players with initiative and discretion.
• Rectifies any Fan complaints.
• Operates a computer and related systems.
• May perform duties of Service Assistant, Line Cook, Server, or Bartender.
