Job summary

Hubbard Inn at MDW Airport is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join SSP America’s team in Chicago. You will partner with the General Manager to lead daily operations and drive team performance in a high-volume airport environment.

You’ll ensure fast, friendly, quality service, manage opening to closing shifts, coach staff, control costs, and uphold food safety standards. This role rewards leadership, guest experience, and career growth within SSP America.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of restaurant management experience in full-service or high-volume dining.
• 1+ year of back-of-house or kitchen leadership preferred.
• Experience leading teams, managing labor, and controlling costs.
• Knowledge of HACCP or ServSafe and food safety standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations, including opening, peak service, and closing.
