Job summary

Primanti Bros. in Weirton, WV is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure brand and health & safety standards, and support financial performance. Under the General Manager, you will lead scheduling, training, and guest service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to Fans and Players.
• Stands/walks 100% of the shift.
• Lifts and carries up to 50lbs, up to 20 times per shift; places these items on high shelves and in walk-in cooler and/or freezer.

Responsibilities

• Assists with administrative duties, including: ordering, receiving, inventory, scheduling, and vendor invoice management.
• Sources, interviews, and hires candidates, trains Players, delegates, provides direction, evaluates, counsels, and disciplines.
• Oversees all daily financial responsibilities (cash handling, daily deposits, authorizes comps and voids).
• Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.
• Oversees cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facility to ensure health and safety regulations.
• Assists with marketing strategy and campaigns to increase business.
• Leads by example and fosters mentoring relationships.
• Provides performance feedback and reviews for Players; supports professional development.
• Works with management and Players with initiative and discretion.
• Rectifies any Fan complaints.
• Operates computer and related systems.
• May perform duties of Service Assistant, Line Cook, Server, or Bartender when needed.
• Assists in other duties as needed.
