The opportunity

Delaware North Travel is seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at New Orleans Airport in Louisiana. As the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will collaborate with the management team to uphold high standards of service, quality, and efficiency across all outlets. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, supporting inventory management, assisting with staff training, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $43,888 – $54,100 per year

In addition to the base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The pay range listed reflects our current willingness to pay for this role. Higher compensation may be considered in special cases where a candidate’s education, training, or experience significantly exceeds the requirements. What will you do?
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain positive guest relations and high service standards to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Support the Restaurant General Manager in training, motivating, and developing team members
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering, inventory, scheduling, payroll, and POS systems
  • Monitor and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations
More about you
  • 2-3 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant required
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health regulations, and safety procedures
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel, and POS systems
  • Ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and TIPs certifications
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs
