The opportunity

Delaware North Travel is searching for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at New Orleans Airport in New Orleans, Louisianna. As the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will work closely with the management team to ensure high standards of service, quality, and efficiency across all outlets. You will help oversee daily operations, support inventory management, assist with training, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $43,888 - $54,100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain positive guest relations and high standards of service to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Support the Restaurant General Manager in training, motivating, and developing team members to maintain high performance and professionalism
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering and inventory and oversee scheduling, payroll, and point of sale systems
  • Monitor and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations
More about you
  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant is required
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health regulations, and safety procedures
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and point of sale systems
  • Ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications
  • Capacity to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business levels
