Job summary

SSP Deutschland GmbH is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for Melt Shop in a fast-paced airport dining environment. You will oversee all front-of-house and kitchen activities, drive food quality and safety, control costs, and lead a diverse team to deliver exceptional guest service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in restaurant management (1+ year in quick-service), strong MS Office and POS skills, and excellent organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years restaurant management experience required.
• 1+ year Quick-Service restaurant management experience required.
• Proficient in MS Office and POS systems.
• Strong organizational maturity to prioritize activities.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.

Join our team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager for Melt Shop in a dynamic airport restaurant environment!

• $65,000 / year
• Opportunity for quarterly bonus and year-end super bonus

What You’ll Do:

• Manage All Front of House and Kitchen Activities
• Focus on the Food
• Cost Control
• Lead and Develop the Team
• Systems and Processes
• Merchandising and Displays
• Handle tasks such as management of funds and media, receiving, inventory, purchasing, team member scheduling and payroll.
• Forecasting and Budgeting

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience required. Minimum 1 year Quick-Service restaurant management experience required.
• Proficient level of computer literacy, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Effective organizational maturity to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities.
• Ability to interact at all levels, including with executives, union representatives, and diverse hourly team members. Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree or equivalent coursework preferred.
