Job Summary: Supports the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, including scheduling, recruiting, inventory management, daily reporting, financial processes, safety and sanitation procedures, and adherence to company policies and expectations. Assistant managers develop future managers and coach team members to ensure guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

• Assist the General Manager in all operational areas.
• Manage shifts to ensure quality service and product.
• Monitor and coach safety and sanitation practices.
• Control portion sizes and reduce food waste.
• Maintain excellent guest relations and promptly address feedback.
• Develop team members for new roles.
• Lead by example with integrity and positive role modeling.
• Perform opening and closing procedures effectively.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and repaired.
• Enforce uniform and hygiene standards.
• Recruit and hire new team members.
• Document incidents appropriately and promptly.
• Prepare schedules to meet labor and sales goals.
• Adjust shift deployment to meet labor expectations.
• Complete inventory and investigate food variances for improvements.
• Engage with community relationships.
