Job summary

Gateways to Change, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director to lead scheduling, program development, and staff supervision for adults with developmental and physical disabilities.

You will initiate skills, follow through on recommendations, and ensure daily operations align with treatment plans and data-driven goals. The role requires coordinating ISP-like activities, documenting progress, and maintaining program quality, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Requires some college coursework in human services.
• Experience or exposure with individuals with developmental disabilities helpful.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and current insurance/registration.
• Must provide a criminal background check with no disqualifying offenses.

Responsibilities

• Create, adapt, and maintain daily/weekly staff and consumer activity schedules to ensure programs are carried out and staffing is adequate.
• Provide direct instruction to consumers and model teaching/intervention techniques as recommended by the treatment team.
• Train residential staff on Human Rights, Behavior Management, First Aid, Medication Administration, and related areas.
• Communicate effectively with staff and families to ensure quality service delivery and confidentiality.
