Qualifications

• Some college coursework in human services.
• One year of direct work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license and current insurance, registrations & inspection.
• Criminal background check with no disqualifying offenses.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, adapt, and maintain staff and consumer activity schedules to ensure programs are carried out and adequate staff are scheduled.
• Provide direct instruction to consumers and model teaching techniques developed by the treatment team.
• Coordinate and document staff training in Human Rights, Behavior Management, First Aid, Administration of Medication, and related topics.
