Kleinfelder is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to join our growing Northern California Construction Services Practice.

Kleinfelder is expanding its Northern California team and is actively seeking the right candidate. This position involves leading a team of inspection/testing and project management professionals, managing projects, collaborating with CM/RE teams, and working with clients to deliver complex programs/projects in the Bay Area. Responsibilities include business development, working with other project managers, and ensuring our team has the tools, skills, and mentorship to grow.
The Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) will support field engineering and construction management for infrastructure projects focusing on the installation and rehabilitation of ductile iron pipe (DIP) and other underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drain, gas) for public and private clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. The ARE ensures construction compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
