Brightway Living & Learning is seeking an Assistant Residential Manager for its adult residential services on Long Island. The role supports individuals with disabilities, helping ensure quality care, independence, and community involvement.

You will assist with staff supervision, scheduling, and program operations while maintaining a safe environment. The position requires a valid NYS driver’s license, DSP experience, and knowledge of ABA/Positive Behavioral Support.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience working with developmentally disabled adults.
• Valid NYS driver’s license and approval to drive by Brightway Transportation.
• Working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavioral Support.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise staff daily and create comprehensive shift schedules; implement emergency procedures as needed.
• Obtain AMAP Certification within 90 days and maintain current certification.
• Train and supervise new staff to work with individuals served and ensure active treatment.
• Assist Program Manager with staff issues, disputes, and required paperwork.
• Document goals and protocols per CFA/ILife/Staff Action Plan; implement behaviors plans.
