Job summary

EchoPark Automotive in Chesterfield, MO is seeking an Assistant Reconditioning Manager to join our dealership team. You will support the Recon Manager, drive production, and ensure vehicles are reconditioned to our quality and time standards.

Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, removing roadblocks with technicians and vendors, tracking performance metrics, and coaching the team to maintain safety and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Automotive recon, auction recon or service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Recon Manager in overseeing daily reconditioning operations.
• Drive production to meet frontline commitments and inventory targets.
• Monitor aging units and ensure timely completion.
• Partner with technicians, parts, and vendors to remove roadblocks.
• Maintain high quality, cost control, and safety standards across all repairs.
• Validate recommended repairs and adherence to our Reconditioning Standards.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and team accountability.
• Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
