Job summary

EchoPark Automotive in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Automotive Assistant Reconditioning Manager to join our team. You will support daily reconditioning operations and help drive our high-volume, fast-paced service standards while upholding quality and safety.

You will lead and coach the Recon teams, monitor production against targets, collaborate with technicians and vendors, and strive for guest satisfaction, efficiency, and cost control.

• Experience managing automotive reconditioning or service operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet volume, quality, and time targets.

Responsibilities

• Support the Recon Manager in overseeing daily reconditioning operations.
• Drive production to meet frontline commitments and inventory targets.
• Monitor aging units and ensure timely completion.
• Partner with technicians, parts, and vendors to remove roadblocks.
• Maintain high quality, cost control, and safety standards across all repairs.
• Validate recommended repairs and adherence to our Reconditioning Standards.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and team accountability.
• Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
