Job summary

EchoPark Automotive in Thornton, CO, seeks an Automotive Reconditioning Manager to lead our reconditioning team and ensure high-quality, timely vehicle prep that aligns with brand standards and profitability.

You will coach staff, manage sublet vendors, monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with waste disposal and OSHA regulations while driving guest satisfaction and brand identity.

Qualifications

• Automotive Reconditioning or Service Management experience required.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
• Strong computer knowledge: spreadsheets, word processing, data entry, inventory systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up consistently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership of the details—large and small.
• Decision-making with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily productivity reports and payroll records.
• Maintain high-quality reconditioning standards with spot checks for thoroughness.
• Coordinate reconditioning phase with buyer and retail teams.
• Manage sublet relationships and ensure on-time delivery at negotiated rates.
• Follow regulations on hazardous waste disposal and OSHA requirements.
• Forecast goals and lead the department to meet them as a team.
• Ensure team training and development goals are met annually.
• Constantly seek ways to innovate and improve processes.
• Celebrate team achievements when goals are reached.
