Shelter Corporation is seeking an Assistant Real Estate Manager to support Madison Terrace I and II, 55+ LIHTC communities in Florida. The role involves leasing, occupancy efforts, resident relations, and LIHTC compliance under the supervision of the Real Estate Manager.

Qualifications

Experience in multifamily property management or LIHTC preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
Experience with LIHTC compliance, income certifications, and resident relations preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

Support Real Estate Manager with daily operations and office coverage.
Assist leasing and lease-up activities including applications and move-ins/outs.
Support occupancy goals with responsive service to prospective residents.
Process rent payments, maintain resident ledgers, and assist with collections.
Assist with LIHTC compliance and income certifications.
Coordinate with maintenance on work orders, unit turns, and move-in readiness.
Prepare resident notices and communications; help with reporting and admin tasks.
Contribute to continuity of operations and special projects.
