Job summary

McKenney’s is seeking an Assistant Quality Analyst to collaborate with business units, identify quality risks, and implement solutions. You will liaise between support groups and project teams to research problems and drive improvements across projects.

The role emphasizes QA data analysis, cross-functional teamwork, and training adoption within a manufacturing/construction-focused environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
At least 1 year of experience as a project engineer or in a role developing technical solutions to business problems.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Measure quality objectives and assess key quality requirements for projects.
Participate in cross-functional teams and continuous improvement efforts related to QA.
Work with V-model users to ensure end user adoption and training.
Establish and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization.
Lead rework and root cause analysis discussions with division leaders.
Analyze internal quality data and verify accuracy and consistency.
Document quality issues and propose new data collection processes.
Coordinate quality efforts to capture best practices and share resources.
Conduct regular site visits to address construction quality issues.
Apply lean 5S principles to shops, warehouse, and tool room environments.
Attend shop drawing reviews to identify quality concerns and improve systems.
