Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Arlington Heights, IL, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to provide basic quality support to the division, investigate complaints, and assist with product testing, documentation, and vendor qualification activities.

You will handle investigations, coordinate corrective actions, build device master records, and help implement inspection procedures, with up to 10% travel to branches and factories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math or related technical field is required.
• Experience processing details, prioritizing importance, and drawing clear conclusions.
• Strong time management to meet deadlines of multiple projects.
• Problem solving and implementing corrective actions.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Up to 10% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer/sales force complaints and ensure investigations are accurate and timely.
• Issue replacements, credits, or RGA’s and notify sales reps/customers of results.
• Run monthly or quarterly complaint trend reports per SOP.
• Coordinate stock checks and rework of product in response to complaints.
• Identify actions to prevent further complaints and initiate CAPA reports and follow up.
• Coordinate or perform inspections of new products or products from new vendors at branches and factories.
• Build Product documentation (e.g., Device Master Records) in compliance with applicable regulations and to support Design Control and Risk Management.
• Create and maintain inspection procedures.
