Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager at Poindexter Place, a 104-unit senior affordable housing community in Columbus, OH. This full-time role covers daily operations, resident relations, leasing activities, and compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 programs.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in property management, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with LIHTC, PBV, and affordable housing programs.
• Experience with HUD and Section 8 compliance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in daily operations of a senior affordable housing community.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist in leasing activities: show units, process applications, conduct background checks.
• Help manage rent collections, enforce leases, address delinquencies.
• Maintain records of tenant interactions, financial transactions, and work orders.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Prepare reports on occupancy and financial status; support budget planning.
