Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Sen Lake, a 91-unit affordable community in Oakland, CA. You will support the Property Manager with leasing, resident relations, rent collections, accounts payable/receivable, and general property administration.

This position offers an opportunity to grow in multifamily housing and property management with a daytime schedule, typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Up to 1 year of experience in property management, leasing, customer service, administrative support, or related field.
• Up to 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Current driver's license in good standing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based business applications.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow in property management.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse residents, colleagues, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of a multifamily residential community.
• Assist with leasing activities, including tours, applications, recertifications, and renewals.
• Monitor rent collections, post payments, and assist with delinquency management.
• Respond to resident concerns and maintain positive relations.
• Prepare financial reports and property documentation.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and accounts payable transactions.
• Assist with property operations and occupancy-related activities.
• Serve as acting Property Manager in the Manager's absence.
