Job summary

Arcan Capital, LLC. is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team in the Southeast United States. The role focuses on delivering a seamless resident experience, supporting leasing, and assisting with financial operations to drive NOI.

The successful candidate will have at least two years in property management, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Yardi or RentCafe. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ property management experience.
• Proficiency in basic accounting and bookkeeping.
• Experience with Yardi and RentCafe.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local Fair Housing laws.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and friendly assistance to residents via phone, email, and in person.
• Support leasing efforts by verifying applications and leasing apartments.
• Assist with staff training and model effective sales techniques.
• Lead rent collection efforts and manage delinquent accounts.
• Contribute to budgeting to improve net operating income.
• Maintain resident records and process rental payments and bank deposits.
• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Act as Property Manager in their absence and adapt to company needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
