Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Katy, Texas. The role focuses on motivating Leasing Consultants, collecting rent, processing applications, and assisting the Property Manager to meet budgeted occupancy and leasing goals.

The position requires strong leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills, with experience in property management software and MS Office. On-site hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college/university exposure in business or property management preferred.
• 1+ year experience in property management or real estate preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use MS Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rent collection and ensure revenue data is accurately posted.
• File evictions when applicable and stay informed of local laws.
• Issue lease violations and collaborate with the property manager to enforce guidelines.
• Review and approve applications ensuring proof of income and compliance with qualifications.
• Audit move-ins and verify all payments and leasing documents.
• Support leasing efforts and conduct property tours as needed.
• Handle escalated resident service requests to meet customer service standards.
• Assist with budget awareness and monthly reporting.
• Help maximize resident renewals and occupancy goals.
