Job summary

Eureka Multifamily Group seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support daily property operations, coordinate viewings, and manage resident relations. You will help maintain budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist with lease processing and reporting.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success. The role requires at least 1 year in affordable housing management and a high school diploma, with a degree in business or real estate preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Degree in business, management or real estate preferred.
  • At least 1 year of affordable housing property management experience including HUD and project-based Section 8.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret HUD policies and property regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain property records and lease files per program requirements.
  • Prepare reports accurately and timely.
  • Inspect property for maintenance and curb appeal.
  • Assist with marketing and leasing to qualified households.
  • Process applications and conduct credit checks.
  • Manage resident relations and safety compliance.
  • Oversee maintenance requests and coordinate staff in absence of managers.
  • Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and related regulations.
