Job summary

Bozzuto, based in Jersey City, NJ, seeks an Assistant Property Manager to lead by example, manage leasing tours, and ensure the community meets Bozzuto standards. You will drive resident satisfaction, oversee operations and coach staff in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in property management or related fields, strong communication skills, and experience with social media and YARDI. This full-time role offers competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in property management, hospitality or retail industries.
• Exposure to revenue, P&L and budget management.
• Proficient in leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent with industry software (YARDI preferred) and related apps.
• Sales aptitude and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Leading by example and upholding Bozzuto's standards and culture.
• Achieve financial objectives through rent collection and delinquency management.
• Conduct tours to convert prospects into new leases.
• Build brand loyalty by ensuring positive resident interactions.
• Ensure community interior/exterior appearance reflects Bozzuto brand.
• Coach, mentor and motivate team members.
• Work weekends 1–2 per month when prospects search for a new home.
• Step in to lead when the Property Manager is absent.
