Job Summary: The Assistant Property Manager/ Leasing Agent maintains the property assigned and performs all related management functions, including, but not limited to, coordinating leasing and marketing efforts, approving move-in files, promoting lease renewals, resident relations, team building, and any other duties or other responsibilities that may be assigned by the Regional Property Supervisor.

Reports to: Regional Property Supervisor

Location: 15400 Belgrade St, Westminster, CA 92683

Position Type: Part-time (30-32 hours per week)

Pay rate: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Available to work Weekends

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Experience in Property Management
  2. Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred
  3. Minimum of 2 years experience in Leasing
  4. Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices
  5. Customer service orientation
  6. Marketing vacancies/ post online with Supervisor approval
  7. Format open house flyers
  8. Host Open House at various properties
  9. Confirm rental application data and personal references
  10. Provide information on all aspects of properties (expansion, zoning, crime etc.)
  11. Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals with prior Supervisor approval
  12. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
  13. Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills
  14. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Programs and Yardi Voyager
  15. A friendly, outgoing personality & the ability to interact with a variety of personality types
  16. Flexibility and ability to identify problems and offer solutions
  17. Collaborate with Resident Services Provider
