NALS Apartment Homes in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager across a multi-site community at River Walk at Puerta De Corrales. You will lead on-site staff, coordinate leasing, reporting, and resident relations to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of property management experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This full-time role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager.
• Professional conduct with residents, prospects, and vendors.
• Proficient in sales, clerical work, supervision, and bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer knowledge.
• Strong telephone/communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be required.
• 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate duties of apartment community employees under the supervision of the Property Manager.
• Assist in hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, and disciplining leasing staff.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Handle rental payments and deposits according to company policies.
• Coordinate monthly newsletter and other marketing strategies.
• Maintain vendor and payable files.
• Research and follow up on outstanding invoices; obtain W-9s and COIs.
• Maintain customer service standards and assist residents with concerns and needs.
• Assist with leasing duties and tours for prospective residents.
• Walk the property weekly and maintain appearance to standard.
• Analyze market conditions to anticipate profitability.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
