NALS Apartment Homes is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for Del Rio Apartments in Albuquerque, NM. You will support the Property Manager, lead on-site staff, and ensure smooth daily operations of the community.

The role emphasizes leasing duties, resident relations, and operational reporting. The position offers a 40-hour work week, wage range starting at $21–$22 per hour, and comprehensive benefits including a 401(k) match and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of property management experience, preferably as Assistant Property Manager.
• Professional demeanor with residents, prospects, and vendors.
• Strong sales, clerical, supervisory, and bookkeeping skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer knowledge.
• Good telephone and communication skills.
• Able to walk stairs to inspect/show apartments.
• Valid driver’s license with current auto insurance may be required.
• 40-hour work week; Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Support Property Manager with day-to-day operations and on-site staff leadership.
• Assist in hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, and disciplining leasing staff.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports; manage rent payments per policy.
• Coordinate monthly newsletter and other marketing strategies.
• Maintain vendor and payable files; manage invoices and insurance paperwork.
• Maintain high resident relations and process applications per guidelines.
• Tour property with prospective residents and lease units; notify applicants of status.
• Handle past resident collections and move-out charges with timely notices.
• Perform quality control and other duties as assigned.
