Job summary

The Dolben Company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for a vibrant community of 240 apartments in California, MD. You will work closely with the Property Manager to oversee leasing, collections, resident relations, maintenance, and admin tasks while ensuring policy compliance.

You bring 1–3 years in property management or related fields, strong communication, and proficiency with MRI, YARDI, or Nexus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in property management, hospitality or retail industries.
• Exposure to revenue, P&L and budget management.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with industry software (MRI, YARDI, Nexus preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, living the standards and behaviors consistent with the Dolben core values and culture.
• Achieve financial objectives through rent collection and by managing delinquency
• Sell and market to include conducting informative and personalized tours that result in new leases
• Build brand loyalty by ensuring every resident interaction is positive
• Coach, mentor and inspire team members
• Step in and lead when the Property Manager is not present
