Job summary

Pantzer is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for The Point at Merrimack Valley in Methuen, MA. You will support the Property Manager with daily operations, lease activity, and resident relations at a Class A, 156-unit community built in 2022.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in property management, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and property software. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Great people skills and a desire to provide residents an exceptional residential experience.
• High school or GED equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager in property management.
• Strong working knowledge of multi-family financial processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
• Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ability to maintain a "can do" attitude to ensure the property’s success.
• Successful completion of required background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager on day-to-day operations of the property and guide onsite team.
• Collaborate with Property Manager and leasing team to meet leasing, marketing, and operational targets.
• Work with management and maintenance teams to provide top quality service to residents.
• Prepare resident correspondence related to rents and compliance matters.
• Cultivate and maintain strong resident relationships through ongoing communication and events.
• Prepare regular financial reports and account statements.
• Monitor resident accounts with Property Manager.
• Support leasing team to ensure accurate leasing processes.
• Monitor market trends and promotions.
