Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in California to support the property manager with daily operations, leasing, and resident relations. This role emphasizes financial stewardship, tenant satisfaction, and team collaboration.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of property management experience, basic MS Office skills, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of property management experience required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or a similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day operations of the property, including resident satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain the rent roll, collect rents, post payments, and perform daily bank deposits.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Process evictions and lease renewals, and assist with training staff on leasing and office operations.
• Inspect buildings for safety and cleanliness and coordinate with maintenance.
