Job summary

Dweck Properties in Arlington, VA is seeking an Assistant Property Manager (APM) to oversee all aspects of property operations including sales & marketing, resident relations, maintenance, and finances.

Under the Property Manager, you will lead a motivated team, promote resident retention, and deliver excellent service. A heart for serving others and experience in multifamily management are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Property Manager or Senior Leasing Consultant in multi-family housing.
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, ADA and fair housing.
• Experience with property management systems such as Yardi or Nexus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve financial objectives through rent collections and by managing delinquency; assist with bookkeeping and budget management.
• Lead sales and marketing initiatives with leasing team to secure new leases.
• Build brand loyalty by ensuring positive resident interactions and timely renewals.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor and vendors to address maintenance needs and present a professional community.
• Train and mentor team to uphold standards and facilitate career development.
• Step in to lead in the Property Manager's absence.
