Job summary

Basin Street Properties seeks an ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER to support day-to-day administration for Class A office property in Petaluma. Under senior management, you will implement policies and programs to keep properties well maintained and efficiently run.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3–5 years in property/facilities management, with strong communication and computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Yardi knowledge desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of Property/Facilities Management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional document quality.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel; Yardi experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property management, maintenance, and construction activities for commercial tenants.
• Respond promptly to tenant requests and manage tenant work orders and service contracts.
• Assist in vendor selection, negotiations, and monitoring contract performance; ensure insurance certificates are in place.
• Assist in budgets, operating expense reconciliations, and business plans for properties.
